Redwood Writers Events & Activities

Redwood Branch of the California Writers Club sponsors a wide variety of events and activities throughout the year to accomplish the CWC mission:

“Educating writers of all levels of expertise in the craft of writing and in the marketing of their work.”

At the core of our branch program is our membership meeting, usually held on the second Sunday of each month, that brings our members together to network, hear branch announcements, enjoy members’ readings and a featured guest speaker.

Other events, such as the Salon and Odd Month Readings, provide a more informal opportunity to meet other members and hear their literary works. Workshops on different genres, the craft of writing and publishing trends further enhance our skills as authors.

Signature events for Redwood Branch in the fall are our participation in the Sonoma County Book Festival in September and our annual Vintage Voices anthology party. Topping off a full year is the Redwood Conference in October.
