eScrip for Redwood

Dear Members of Redwood Writers Club,

We are pleased to announce that Redwood Writers is now enrolled in the eScrip Program! As Fundraising Chair, I am happy to head up this important opportunity.

What is eScrip?

It is a program for non-profit organizations whereby members register their credit/debit, ATM cards, so that Redwood Writers will receive 1% to 5% of everything purchased at merchants such as Olivers, Sonoma Market, Glen Ellen Market, Petaluma Market, Round Table Pizza, Macy’s etc. (see list of stores on eScrip.com, “About the Program”)

This does not cost you, the customer anything. Once you are signed up, and you shop at one of the merchants that are in the eScrip Program, the donation to Redwood Writers will be automatic. These merchants have agreed to donate to help non-profits. The money is waiting for us to claim!

How to sign up?

It is simple: • Go to eScrip.com • Click “About the Program,” on the blue bar • Click “Sign Up “ on the blue bar • Enter “California Writers” for group name and follow the remaining prompts. • Please be sure to give a password that you will remember when you exit, as you will need it to re-enter the site

if you change a credit card or a credit card expires. (Our ID# is 500024196).

We can help you sign up!

• If you prefer, you may get registered during our membership meetings. I will be there with a computer and will help you register. Please bring your credit cards—this all takes— just a few minutes.

Another important feature of this program is their online mall. You can earn up to 8.4%! of your expenditures at places like Amazon, Toys R Us, Apple, Macy’s, Drugstore.com; Eddie Bauer, Sears, JC Penny, Best Buy, Nordstrom, Barnes and Noble, wireless AT & T, Petco, and Quickbooks. So be sure to buy through eScrip—it really takes zero time or effort.

Here is an easy, painless way to support our club, something all of us can do without spending any additional money!

Please call or email us if you have any questions. Together let’s support the many benefits provided to us through Redwood Writers Club.

Sincerely,
