RULES

Please observe the following contest rules; otherwise, your entry may be disqualified.

WHAT TO SUBMIT:

  • Poets must be members in good standing of Redwood Writers or any other CWC club.
  • Each poet may submit up to 5 poems of any length on a single document.
  • Only previously unpublished poems will be accepted. Poems that have appeared in print, including online magazines, are not eligible. However, they may have appeared in personal blogs or online newsletters.
  • Every poem must have a TITLE.
  • All poems must be submitted by June 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m., for consideration.
  • Poems must be original.
  • Editor may ask for minor revisions or clarifications before acceptance.

FORMAT REQUIREMENTS:

  • 12-point Times New Roman font
  • Poems should be left-justified
  • One space after punctuation

At the time of submission, include a 50-word biography that begins with your name and is written in 3rd person, e.g., "John Doe lives in Sonoma and has been published in..."
No memoirs please!

HOW TO SUBMIT:

  • Document format: Your piece(s) must be formatted as a Microsoft Word doc or docx, not a PDF.
  • Multiple poems must be submitted in a single document.
  • ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ONLY: All entries must be submitted online using the submission form linked below.
