2026-2027 New Member Application: CWC Redwood Branch

CWC membership period runs from July 1 – June 30. Membership applications submitted between April 1 – June 30 will apply toward the 2026-2027 fiscal year, starting July 1. ALL applications must be made online using this form. You can pay online or with a check. Both options are included in this form. Once you hit submit, you will be taken to the payment screen. REDWOOD EXPRESS: This PREPAID DISCOUNTED FEE pays for your entry fee at all 12 general membership meetings, July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 (a $120.00 value). ALSO INCLUDED is a FREE GUEST PASS (valued at $15). This $90.00 fee is charged in addition to the membership fee selected above. This allows you to bypass Registration.

10-Minute Play Contest

Writers are invited to submit 10-minute plays for a chance to have them performed by Off the Page Readers Theater in front of an audience.

Open to all CWC members and non-members, this contest is for original, unpublished, and unproduced works that are appropriate for Readers Theatre.

Submissions should rely on props that work in a “reading” format. While there is no maximum page limit, the play must fit within a 10-minute time frame when read aloud and include no more than five characters.

We are looking for uplifting, provocative, and poignant plays, formatted in single-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font.

Judging is blind, so do not include the playwright’s name on the script.

Submission fees are $10 per play for Redwood Writers members and $15 per play for non-members. A maximum of two plays may be submitted, and only one play per playwright will be produced.

Only plays uploaded via the online form will be accepted for judging.

Upon submission, if you choose to pay with a check, please make check out to “CWC Redwood,” and write “Play Contest” on the memo line.
