Membership Levels
The California Writers Club offers two levels of membership: Active (for writers who are already published) and Associate (for writers not yet published but actively working toward first publication.)
In addition, the Branch offers Supporting member status for those who have not yet begun to write.
Included in the Supporting Member category is the Student member sub-category for writers ages 8-22 (or older, if you can prove you are a full time student).
All writers are welcome to join in the classification appropriate to their current level of writing achievement. As achievements increase, members can later advance from Supporting, to Associate, to Active membership.
California residence is not required for membership and CWC is open to writers of all genres.
Please refer to Membership qualifications revised October 09 for a detailed description of membership qualifications.
