Redwood Writers is a 501(c)(6) non-profit, volunteer-driven organization, dependent on generous contributions from our members and supporters.

Most of our annual revenue is raised through memberships, workshops, monthly meetings, the biennial "Pen to Published" writers conference, contests, special events, and donations.

As an arts organization, we have the ability to offer numerous sponsorship opportunities within our exceptional writers' programming, such as helping to underwrite a conference, conference attendee scholarships, monthly speaker fees, workshops, contest fees and prizes, membership scholarships, various events, or any number of ongoing opportunities. As a result, our writers' programming is stronger than ever, thanks to our many supporters, sponsors, and underwriters.

Giving a gift to Redwood Writers is a meaningful way to acknowledge a special birthday, anniversary, birth of a child, death of a loved one, retirement, and so on. We also welcome donors' “Planned Giving,” as a way to give the gift of legacy, ensuring that Redwood Writers will continue to benefit the writing community for years to come.
