Elected position. The Vice President supports the President and helps ensure the smooth running of Redwood Writers by taking on responsibilities assigned by the President, which may change throughout the year. A key part of the role is stepping in to lead meetings when the President is unavailable. The Vice President also serves as a leader-in-training, with the expectation that one of the Vice Presidents will become the nominee for President at the end of the current President’s term.
