The Author Launch Chair organizes Redwood Writers’ Author Launch event—a free public celebration in the spring where members debut their new books. This event gives authors the chance to debut their newly published book in a supportive setting. Duties include securing a venue, coordinating publicity, arranging food and setup, preparing programs, and facilitating book sales. After the event, the Chair reports on outcomes and shares highlights with the Board and media. This role is best when shared by two or more people.
