Each year since 2006, Redwood Writers has published an anthology showcasing the work of its members. The anthology is unveiled at a book launch party during which selected authors read their works.
The first seven anthologies were titled Vintage Voices in celebration of our setting in the beautiful Sonoma County Wine Country. Our new title is representative of the collective strength and vision of our members: The Redwood Writers Anthology.
Redwood Writers is proud to be a green publisher, using print-on-demand technology in all its projects.

2022 Redwood Writers Anthology
On Fire
Fire is a primal and mythic symbol in life, literature, and the evolution of humankind. Since the discovery of fire, igniting a flame has been a hallmark of warmth and comfort. We share ancestral stories around campfires, and a robust hearth is a symbol of a well-kept home. As a symbol, fire can mean being consumed by passion. Flames can be a comfort or a danger. Intense heat can refer to a supernatural world beyond our planet as in blazing comets and lava spewing interstellar volcanos.

2018 Redwood Writers Anthology
Phoenix: Out of Silence … and then
The 2018 Redwood Writers Poetry Anthology, Phoenix: Out of Silence … and then, contains poems by a broad range of Sonoma County writers. In addition to about a hundred poems depicting the many aspects of life in Sonoma County, it has a special section devoted to poems rising out of the ashes of the devastating wildfires of October 2017. The wildfire poems depict what it was like before, during, and after the fires. There are poems written by a number of people who lost their homes and all their belongings. The anthology includes poems written by all of the Sonoma County poet laureates, many of whom were directly affected by the fires. Three poets received the Sonoma County Award of Merit distinction, and their poems open this special volume.

2017 Redwood Writers Anthology
Sonoma: Stories of a region and its people
