Elected position. The President serves as the leader and guiding voice of Redwood Writers. This role involves presiding over meetings, working closely with the Board, and ensuring the club’s activities align with its mission. The President provides vision, fosters open communication, and encourages member participation. Responsibilities include setting goals for the year, developing budgets and event calendars, appointing and introducing board members, approving contracts, and serving as a liaison with both meeting venues and the statewide California Writers Club. The President also oversees committees, supports volunteers, and ensures smooth operations, while representing Redwood Writers at regional meetings and events.
